The Sustainable Land Management Connectors aim to promote innovative natural capital practice in land use, sharing knowledge and best practice.

The group meets quarterly, arranges site visits to projects in development across Scotland and has a Basecamp network site to share links, ideas and conversation related to the work of the group and the wider topic.

Our History

The Future Land Management Business Models Working Group began in 2017, chaired by Roger Owen at SEPA, and evolved into the Sustainable Land Management Group in 2018, chaired by Mary Christie of Scottish Natural Heritage (NatureScot). This developed into the Sustainable Land Management Connectors in December 2023. Find out more about the history of the initiative.
